You are there on April 24th 1983 as F-9 #5771 arrives at Denver Union Station for the last time with the 1948 era stainless steel cars. Then step back into time with summer and winter scenes trackside and on board as this famous train climbs the Rockies and speeds across the Utah desert to Salt Lake City.
Snow Train: Rio Grande's Ski Special. The Winter Park Ski Resort is served by a D&RGW train that is a delight to both skiers and railfans. In 1984, the 1915 vintage coaches were pulled by the famous F-units from the Rio Grande Zephyr. You're on board and trackside of this unique train through the snow covered Rocky Mountains.
